APRIL 19 - CAVITE: The Solidarity of Cavite Workers (SCW), an alliance of workers organizations and unions in the province of Cavite held an unofficial “Olympic Torch Relay” to launch Play Fair’s Catch the Flame campaign in the Philippines. SCW’s outpouring of support for the initiative was impressive considering just weeks before the group suffered the loss of one of its leaders, Gerardo Cristobal, who was brutally murdered on March 10th.
